1. Introduction

SaWell ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications and services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Google User Data Access

Our application, "Blogspot for Google Blogger," integrates with Google services and accesses the following Google user data through the Google Blogger API and Google Analytics API:

  • Blogger Data: We access your Blogger account information, including blog titles, blog posts, post content, post metadata (such as publication dates, labels, and custom URLs), and blog settings. This data is accessed to enable you to create, edit, publish, and manage your blog posts directly through our application.
  • Google Analytics Data: If you have Google Analytics connected to your Blogger account, we access your Analytics data including page views, visitor statistics, traffic sources, and other analytics metrics. We use this data to provide you with insights about your blog's performance and help you understand your audience better.
  • User Profile Information: We access basic profile information from your Google account, including your name and email address, to identify you and personalize your experience within the application.
  • Blog Configuration: We access your blog configuration settings, including blog descriptions, custom domain settings, and other blog preferences, to provide you with the full functionality of managing your Blogger account.

Purpose of Data Access: We access this Google user data solely for the purpose of providing the core functionality of our application, which is to enable you to create, edit, and manage your Google Blogger content. We do not use this data for any other purposes, such as advertising or analytics, beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

Data Storage: We store minimal data locally on your device to improve app performance and provide offline capabilities. We do not store your Google account credentials. All authentication is handled securely through Google's OAuth 2.0 system.

Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to any third parties. Your Google data remains under your control and is only accessed when you explicitly use features that require such access.

User Control: You can revoke our application's access to your Google data at any time through your Google Account settings. When you revoke access, the application will no longer be able to access your Blogger data.

5. Google API Access and OAuth Scopes

Our application requests the following Google API scopes and permissions:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/blogger - Manage your Blogger account. This scope allows our application to read and write to your Blogger blogs. We use this permission to enable you to create, edit, publish, and manage your blog posts through our application.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/blogger.readonly - View your Blogger account. This scope allows our application to read your Blogger blogs and posts in read-only mode. We use this to display your existing blog content and help you manage your blogs.

We use Blogger scopes to enable you to create, edit, and manage your blog content. We use Analytics scopes to provide you with insights about your blog's performance, if you have Google Analytics integrated with your Blogger account. We do not use these permissions for any other purposes, and we do not access any data beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

Revocation: You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Account settings. When you revoke access, the application will no longer be able to access your Blogger data, Analytics data, or other Google account information.
