Job Summary: The Workforce Development (WFD) Instructor – Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy provides classroom and/or lab instruction to adult learners in medical assisting and phlebotomy coursework. This position supports workforce readiness by delivering competency-based instruction aligned with industry standards and certification requirements in healthcare support roles.  Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree; 5 years of medical assistant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensing Requirements: Current Phlebotomy Certificate Required to be compliant with PA Child Protective Service Laws. For additional information, please visit Hiring Range:  Varies Preferred Qualifications: 1-year teaching experience Possess a nationally-recognized medical assistant certification Job Specific Task List: Deliver instruction in medical assisting and phlebotomy theory, procedures, and clinical skills - (Essential) Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with workforce development and certification standards (e.g., MA and CPT competencies) - (Essential) Provide hands-on instruction in clinical skills such as venipuncture, specimen collection, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures - (Essential) Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to support skill development and certification readiness - (Essential) Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress - (Essential) Support student engagement, retention, and successful program completion - (Essential) Ensure compliance with safety, clinical, and instructional standards in lab and clinical environments - (Essential) Collaborate with program staff and clinical partners to support student learning outcomes - (Essential) Job Type: Non credit Instructor If part time, hours per week: Varies   About Us: Our Purpose: Learning for all; learning for life.
