Job Summary: Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Jacksonville, FL).  We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted   Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software     Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Perform thorough equipment and vehicle inspections to identify potential safety or maintenance concerns. Diagnose and repair brake systems in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair suspension system components. Perform A/C system diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, switches, and control modules. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Document findings, diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations accurately on all work orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Provide professional customer service and represent the company in a positive manner. Primary Focus: Safety, quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. Education, Licenses, Certifications:  Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.  Experience:  Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
