Assistant Athletic Director

About the role

Assistant Athletic Director   Purpose: The person will have the responsibility of assisting the athletic director in overall management of the Twin Valley Community Local Schools Interscholastic Athletic Program.   Reports to:   Athletic Director Dane Sadowski, AD, TVS, 100 Education Drive, West Alexandria, Ohio 45381   Essential Functions:  Assist the Athletic Director in supervising the High School and Middle School athletic programs. Assist the Athletic Director in implementing district and state regulations equally to all athletic programs Implement and monitor the usage of the Athletic Code of Conduct. Assists the Athletic Directory in supervision of contests. Represent the district, as needed, at conference, district and state meetings. Assist the Athletic Director in creating and broadcasting athletic information on social media and the athletic website. Assist the Athletic Director in stocking and staffing of athletic concessions when necessary. Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling of facilities for athletic teams and outside organizations. Responsible for carrying out all other duties assigned by the Athletic Director and/or a district administrator.   Travel Requirements: Travel to other districts and/or locations for athletic contests or athletic meetings when applicable   Knowledge or Skills Knowledge of athletics and athletics programs Knowledge of OHSAA and District rules and regulations Computer literacy, including but not limited to, website creation, social media and Google applications Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, administrators, athletes, parents, community members and fans.
