This role leads projects from concept through production and post-production, maintains a high standard of visual quality, and builds and equips volunteer teams to expand Preston Trail’s photo and video capabilities.  Responsibilities  Produce compelling video and photo content for weekend services, churchwide initiatives, ministry needs, and digital channels.  Lead video projects from concept through production, editing, revision, and final delivery.  Provide leadership and direction for photography across Preston Trail, maintaining consistent standards for capture, editing, and delivery.  Partner with the Creative Pastor, Communications Team, and ministry leaders to translate ideas and stories into strong visual content.  Maintain high technical and creative standards across video, photography, lighting, audio-for-video, and post-production.  Organize and maintain photo/video equipment, files, archives, and asset-management systems.  Recruit, train, lead, and encourage volunteer photographers and videographers, building teams that expand the Creative Team’s capacity while maintaining Preston Trail’s visual standards.  Stay current on visual storytelling trends, production techniques, and emerging technology that can strengthen Preston Trail’s creative work.  Qualifications  Aligns with Preston Trail beliefs and outward values ( )  Committed to team values of Self-Leadership, Positive Attitude, Team Mindset, Healthy Relationships, and High Performance.  Fruitful, thriving, growing faith in Jesus Christ.  Must submit our assessment here within 2 business days of applying Strong visual storyteller with demonstrated experience producing high-quality video and photography.  Strong creative instincts with excellent attention to detail and visual quality.  Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  Comfortable working in studio, field, and live-event environments and able to troubleshoot technical challenges under pressure.  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, direct, and encourage volunteers.  Culturally aware and able to draw inspiration from current visual and creative trends.  Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, problem-solving, and a collaborative team mindset.   Technical Qualifications   Advanced skills in professional video production, including camera operation, lighting, audio capture, and post-production.  Advanced video editing and color correction/grading skills.  Strong photography skills, including composition, lighting, editing, and image management.  Working knowledge of motion graphics, audio mixing, and sound design.  Experience with professional cinema camera systems and RAW video workflows.  Experience managing digital media workflows, including file organization, storage, backup, archiving, and delivery.  Working knowledge of production lighting, grip equipment, and safe rigging practices.  FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate held at hire or obtained within 90 days.  Preferred Software & Equipment Experience: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, RED cinema cameras and REDCODE RAW workflows, Professional DSLR/mirrorless photography systems, Pixieset or similar photo management/delivery platforms, Waves Audio or similar professional audio tools.    Physical Requirements  Ability to lift and carry production equipment up to 75 pounds.  Ability to stand and move for extended periods.  Ability to safely use ladders and work at elevated heights.  Ability to set up and tear down production equipment.  Organizational Relationships           MINISTRY TEAM:  Creative Team            REPORTS TO:  Creative Pastor Employment Classifications          Category: Full Time           Hours per Week: 40-50           Ministerial Status: Ministerial Exception            Employee Class: Support Staff           FLSA Classification: Exempt           Weekends Required: Yes           Commissionable:  No           Remote Work Environment: No  Preston Trail Community Church At Preston Trail Community Church, our mission is to help people find AND follow Jesus Christ.
