Vice President of Field Operations

Description   John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Vice President of Field Operations to lead and scale field operations across our growing residential HVAC and plumbing organization. This senior leader will be responsible for driving operational performance, profitability, customer experience, and consistency across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused operator who can develop leaders, establish scalable processes, and use performance data to drive continuous improvement. This role requires someone equally comfortable developing strategy with executive leadership and working directly with field teams to improve execution. What You’ll Do Lead multi-location HVAC service, installation, and plumbing operations  Drive revenue, gross margin, productivity, capacity, quality, and customer satisfaction  Establish consistent operating standards and best practices across locations  Develop and coach service, installation, plumbing, and regional operations leaders  Monitor field KPIs and implement action plans to improve underperforming areas  Improve technician and installer productivity, utilization, and overall field efficiency  Drive HVAC service-to-replacement performance and installation profitability  Build and scale profitable plumbing operations  Reduce callbacks, warranty costs, and customer complaints  Partner with Finance and executive leadership on budgets, forecasts, and operating performance  Improve recruiting, onboarding, training, retention, and career development for field teams  Optimize dispatch, scheduling, routing, and field technology  Maintain a strong field presence across company locations  What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related home-services business  5+ years leading multi-location or multi-market field operations  Strong experience managing both service and installation operations  Demonstrated responsibility for operating performance and P&L  Proven experience scaling operations in a growing organization  Strong understanding of residential home-services economics and field KPIs  Experience developing frontline and senior operational leaders  Data-driven and comfortable managing through performance metrics  Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills  Ability to travel regularly between operating locations  A field-oriented leadership style with the ability to identify operational challenges, coach managers, implement solutions, and replicate successful practices across multiple locations    About John C.
