About the role

Utilities Policy Advisory Committee Member VOLUNTEER / NON-PAID POSITION Wanted: Bright Ideas, Powerful Convictions, and Business Experience.  The Colorado Springs Utilities Board is seeking two volunteers to fill vacancies as either regular or alternate members of the Utilities Policy Advisory Committee (UPAC).  UPAC is a fact-finding body that reviews, analyzes, and provides recommendations to the Utilities Board regarding policy direction for Colorado Springs Utilities. Interested individuals must provide a resume and cover letter as well as be a customer of Colorado Springs Utilities and possess skills and experience in financial or business professions. Appointments are made for a term of three years, with a maximum of three consecutive terms, and alternate members have an open-ended term.  UPAC meetings are typically held the first Wednesday of each month, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Blue River Board Room on the fifth floor of the South Tower in the Plaza of the Rockies (121 S. Tejon Street).   This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference in our community’s future!
