About the role

Position Title:  Title I Tutor Position Summary: The Title I Tutor provides targeted academic support to students who need additional instruction and intervention. Tutors work with small groups of students using a designated tutoring plan and student data to address learning needs. Qualifications: Must hold a valid, active Missouri DESE teaching certificate in the area in which the individual will provide tutoring Current district teachers and qualified Kelly substitute teachers may apply Ability to work the designated tutoring schedule and maintain required documentation Responsibilities: Provide engaging, targeted instruction in the tutor's certified content area Work with students in small-group settings to address identified academic needs Monitor student attendance and progress Maintain required student sign-in sheets and monthly timesheets Communicate with building staff regarding student participation and needs Follow all district Title I tutoring procedures and requirements Compensation: $30 per hour
