Systems Engineer Application Deadline: 19 September 2026 Department: Data Analysis and Technology Services Employment Type: Full Time Location: Chantilly, VA Compensation: $130,000 - $260,000 / year Description REQUIRED:  Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph LOCATION:   Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA We are seeking a mission‑driven Systems Engineer to lead engineering and enterprise‑level support across complex Linux, VMware, and Windows‑based environments. In this role, you’ll provide deep Tier 2–Tier 4 technical expertise, drive problem resolution for critical systems, and guide engineering efforts that keep infrastructure stable, secure, and mission‑ready. Key Responsibilities and Experience needed In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with: Providing in-depth Tier 2 through Tier 4 level support and problem resolution for technology products and applications Leading and performing engineering efforts in the areas of Linux servers and workstations Performing configuration and management of VMware vCenter and VMware NSX-T Coordinating engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de-conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts. Operating and maintaining Active Directory, Domain Naming System (DNS), Distributed File System (DFS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Maintaining Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) in accordance with security posture Supporting and operations and maintenance of infrastructure environments Working with Splunk, Check_MK, McAffee EPO, and BitLocker Highly Desired Qualifications Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include working with: Working with Rocky Creating and presenting system documentation briefings to review and approval boards Performing Tier 1 through Tier 4 support, including both systems troubleshooting and incident tracking and management Hands-on experience with the Sponsor’s property destruction process Working with Center for Internet Security Benchmarks Working with VMWare Horizon VDI Managing Sponsor's accountable and network encryption devices property Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) A+ Certified Service Engineer What We Offer You Highly Competitive Salary: Recognizing and rewarding your expertise and contributions.
