Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite position. The administrator will support the installation, operation, and maintenance of all current and future Information Systems. Duties and responsibilities involve the administration of Windows servers, Windows workstations, Terminal Servers, File & Print servers, organization folders, system documentation, analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal Information System performance.  This position is a part of a centralized team of systems administrators.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   Maintain/troubleshoot customer Windows workstations, both on-site and remotely Perform Windows system administrative support to include adding and removing users, performing file restores, installing software, and assisting users daily Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions Determine the best solution to resolve tickets based on the issue and details provided by customers Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources Follow standard operating procedures; accurately log all tickets using the defined tracking software Walk customers through problem solving process to ensure proper incident and request recording, documentation, and closure Responsible for day-to-day coordination and administration of tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer schedules Assist with writing manuals and other documentation Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations Minimum Qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 1+ years of experience in Information Technology. An associates degree with 3 years of experience, or high school with 6 years of experience can be substituted for a degree. Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016 (or more recent) Servers  Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 Experience with Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2016 Experience with vSphere, Horizon View, data backups, and antivirus software Basic networking experience, including TCPIP Experience with deploying workstation images or zero clients. Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or ServiceNow DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, ex., Security+ CE DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification required within 6 months of hire, ex., MCSA, VCP, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications:   ITIL Foundations or later certification highly desired. Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) as needed. Previous customer service experience strongly desired. Clearance Requirements:   Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain a poly Physical Requirements:   The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.  Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. The projected compensation range for this position is $71,400.00-$118,700.00.
