Position Title: Student Aide (Student Position)   Location: Big Rapids, MI 49307   Department: Michigan College of Optometry   Advertised Salary: $13.73   Summary of Position: Assisting MCO faculty with a project in the vision rehab clinic. This may include assisting with completion of paperwork, sorting, packing and organizing materials in the vision rehab clinic, assist in coordinating schedules and/or meetings.   Position Type: Student   Position Requirements: * Enrolled as a MCO student * Required optometry knowledge   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Sorting, reading, and organizing equipment for the vision rehab clinic. * Completing documents, copying, phone calls, etc. * General office duties, filing, typing (Student employees in this role are not instructors and may not perform duties reserved for instructional faculty, including creating or revising syllabi, designing or assigning graded coursework, assessing learning for grades, grading student work, managing Canvas or other LMS course functions, delivering required instruction on behalf of faculty, substituting for faculty, making course policy decisions, or completing compensated work already assigned to instructional faculty.)   Number of Positions Available: 1   Documents Needed to Apply: Class Schedule   Job Close Date: 9/12/26   EEO Statement: Ferris State University, an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer, is committed to enhancing equity, inclusion, and diversity within its community.
