Job Summary: .The Sr. Field Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, readiness, and performance of all program equipment and fleet assets. This role supports operational continuity by performing preventative maintenance, managing repairs, coordinating certifications, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, this position serves as a lead resource for schedule compliance, field deployments, and technical training of new team members. The role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, enabling program scalability, and delivering quality service across a geographically distributed service area. Job Description: Equipment Maintenance & Repair   Manage and maintain FM1 and   Vitronic   equipment, including certifications, rework, and RMA coordination.   Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to minimize trailer downtime.   Ensure all equipment   is deployment-ready at all times.   Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.   Work with field service technicians to thoroughly understand equipment issues before arriving on-site.   Fleet Readiness & Deployment Support   Maintain full fleet availability to support all scheduled and unscheduled deployments.   Lead shift to ensure proper schedule compliance and system deployments.   Provide coverage   in the event of   schedule   call-offs, reducing risk of missed deployments and LD exposure.   Improve turnaround time for inspections and repairs,   eliminating   maintenance bottlenecks.   Be available to support field deployments and respond to   call-outs   as needed.   Transport trailers and vehicles between Western Washington and Eastern Washington shop locations to support operational needs and fleet readiness.   Shipping, Logistics & Vendor Coordination   Coordinate shipping and   receiving for   parts and RMA equipment.   Work with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure   timely   parts availability and service.   Coordinate and execute transportation of trailers and vehicles between shop locations to support maintenance and deployment.   Ensure consistent maintenance coverage across all operational locations.   Training & Technician Development   Train and certify new technicians on maintenance procedures, equipment handling, and best practices.   Assist   in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new field service employees.   Provide   hands-on technical guidance and mentor less experienced team members.   Maintain required FM1 and equipment certifications; coordinate certification schedules and renewals.   Stay current on equipment updates and maintenance best practices.   Documentation & Tracking   Maintain certification and compliance records.   Track RMA lifecycle and equipment rework status.   Document maintenance and repair history accurately.   Update vehicle fleet management records and tracking software.   Operate company vehicles and provide schedule updates using tracking software.   Operations Support & Continuous Improvement   Collaborate with Lead Technicians, Supervisors, and field teams to ensure equipment availability.   Support program growth and increasing fleet size while preventing maintenance backlog.   Identify   and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.   Conduct audits and   assist   with handover of installations and startups of new systems.   Follow company procedures, safety policies, and conduct   role   in accordance with   organizational policies and applicable laws.     Requirements     3+ years of maintenance experience   required   or relevant education.   Ability to install equipment, diagnose problems, and perform complex repairs.   Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as tools associated with repair.   Must have Low Voltage and Inventory Management experience.   Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.   Strong time-management skills with the ability to adhere to a tight schedule.   Must be able to lift at least 100 lbs.   Proficient   in Microsoft products.   Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others and work well on a team.   Valid driver's license; ability to transport trailers and vehicles between Washington locations.     Nice to Haves     Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of experience in a related field.   Customer service background and enthusiasm for delivering excellent service.   Experience performing on-site maintenance and field service.   Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends.   Experience with fleet management software or tracking systems.   Background in automated traffic enforcement or public safety technology.     AI & Technology     Elovate   encourages Field Service and Maintenance Technicians to   leverage   AI tools to work more efficiently, resolve issues faster, and   maintain   higher equipment uptime.     Use AI-assisted tools to streamline maintenance documentation — service logs, RMA tracking, repair   histories, and compliance records.   Leverage AI diagnostics and troubleshooting resources to   identify   equipment faults faster and reduce resolution time.   Apply AI tools to synthesize fleet data, maintenance trends, and equipment health metrics into actionable insights for planning and reporting.   Stay current on AI tools relevant to field service and maintenance operations, bringing relevant capabilities to your workflows.   Apply sound judgment when using AI-generated outputs — always   validate   before acting on recommendations in the field.     Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings Available: 1
