Summary of the Job:   The Senior Analyst, Vendor Management – Credit Risk plays a critical role in supporting FNBO's Credit Risk division by managing and optimizing vendor relationships that directly support credit risk operations, analytics, and decisioning. This role partners closely with Credit Risk leadership, internal business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure FNBO receives maximum value from its credit risk vendor portfolio while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and organizational risk appetite. The Senior Analyst also serves as a key contributor to executive-level reporting and strategic planning initiatives, including quarterly business reviews and annual executive briefings focused on the evolving credit risk vendor landscape. About This Role:   Cost Tracking & Financial Management Monitor and track expenditures for Credit Risk vendors against approved budgets, identifying variances and escalating discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost tracking records across all active Credit Risk vendor relationships, including credit bureau data providers, scoring model vendors, and analytics platforms. Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support Credit Risk vendor spend analysis and forecasting. Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure Credit Risk vendor invoices are reconciled and processed accurately. Identify cost optimization opportunities across the Credit Risk vendor portfolio and present findings with supporting data to leadership. Contract Negotiations & Governance Support end-to-end contract lifecycle activities for Credit Risk vendors, including renewals, amendments, and new vendor agreements for services such as credit data, model validation, and risk analytics. Conduct research and benchmarking to inform negotiation strategies and ensure competitive pricing for Credit Risk-specific products and services. Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure Credit Risk vendor contracts meet FNBO's standards, regulatory requirements, and fair lending obligations. Maintain a centralized contract repository for Credit Risk vendors, tracking key milestones, renewal dates, and SLA obligations. Assist in drafting contract summaries, redlines, and negotiation briefs for Credit Risk stakeholder review. Analytical & Business-Requested Projects Execute ad hoc analytical projects requested by Credit Risk business stakeholders, delivering actionable insights and recommendations related to vendor performance, data quality, and model effectiveness. Design and produce reports, scorecards, and visualizations to communicate Credit Risk vendor performance and program health to internal audiences. Conduct vendor benchmarking, market research, and competitive analysis to support strategic decisions within the Credit Risk function. Partner with Credit Risk analysts, model developers, and operations teams to assess vendor capabilities and alignment with credit strategy objectives. Support RFP/RFI processes for Credit Risk vendor selections by compiling evaluation criteria, scoring vendor responses, and summarizing findings. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) Lead preparation and coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews with key Credit Risk vendors and internal stakeholders, including Credit Risk leadership and operations teams. Compile and analyze performance data, SLA metrics, data quality indicators, and financial summaries specific to Credit Risk vendor engagements. Develop presentation materials, talking points, and supporting documentation for QBR sessions, ensuring alignment with Credit Risk priorities and ongoing initiatives. Track action items and follow-up commitments arising from QBRs, ensuring timely resolution and accountability. Facilitate post-QBR debriefs and document outcomes for continuous improvement tracking within the Credit Risk vendor program. Annual Executive Briefings Support the development and delivery of annual executive briefings focused on the Credit Risk vendor landscape, market trends, and strategic opportunities relevant to FNBO's credit operations. Research and synthesize industry trends, emerging credit risk technologies, regulatory developments, and vendor innovations — including advancements in credit scoring, alternative data, AI/ML-driven risk models, and decisioning platforms. Identify and present future enhancements and vendor capabilities that could strengthen FNBO's credit risk management, improve portfolio performance, or enhance the customer credit experience. Collaborate with Credit Risk senior leadership to align briefing content with FNBO's credit strategy, risk appetite, and long-range planning objectives. Produce polished, executive-ready presentation materials and briefing documents that communicate complex credit risk topics clearly and concisely for senior audiences. The Ideal Candidate for This Role:   Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, financial analysis, or a related discipline — preferably with exposure to credit risk or financial services. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into clear recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling) and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with credit risk concepts, including credit scoring, underwriting, and risk analytics. Preferred Experience working within or directly supporting a Credit Risk, Lending, or Risk Management function at a financial institution. Familiarity with credit bureau data providers (e.g., Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) and credit risk analytics platforms. Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to credit risk, including fair lending, FCRA, and model risk management (SR 11-7). Experience supporting executive-level presentations or strategic planning processes. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with contract management systems and procurement tools. Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. Compensation:   Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level. Work Environment: It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
