About the role

Description The Junior Software Developer, Supply Chain will work closely with senior developers and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and support software solutions while building expertise in modern technologies and enterprise applications. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with foundational programming skills who is eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain Application Development. Responsibilities • Develop, test, and maintain software applications under the guidance of senior team members. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. • Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development methodologies as required. • Work effectively within Agile development teams and contribute to team objectives. • Communicate progress, challenges, and ideas clearly to teammates and stakeholders. What makes you a good fit? • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Basic programming knowledge in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Unix or similar. • Understanding of fundamental software development concepts, data structures, and algorithms. • Familiarity with databases and SQL concepts. • Exposure to source control tools such as Git. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Academic projects, internships, or personal projects demonstrating software development experience. • Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, or modern development frameworks. • Exposure to Agile development practices. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
