Job Details Position Summary   The Sr. Director Program Management is responsible for leading a complex, enterprise-wide transformation program and broader business transformation initiatives. This role will provide strategic leadership, governance, and execution oversight across multiple workstreams spanning systems, processes, and operating model changes.  Reporting to the VP, Governance & PMO, the Program Director will lead a team of Senior Program Managers and work closely with business leaders, IT, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery of program objectives, milestones, and business outcomes.  Key Responsibilities   Lead the overall planning, governance, and execution oversight of a large, complex transformation program and related initiatives  Provide leadership and direction to a team of Senior Program Managers responsible for major program workstreams  Ensure alignment of program scope, priorities, milestones, resources, and business outcomes across all workstreams  Establish and maintain program governance, reporting, escalation, and decision-making processes  Oversee integrated program plans, cross-functional dependencies, risks, issues, and action tracking  Prepare and deliver executive updates, dashboards, and materials for governance and steering committee meetings  Partner with business, IT, and external implementation partners to drive alignment, accountability, and execution discipline  Ensure implementation partners and vendors are effectively managed against agreed deliverables and commitments  Support organizational readiness, change coordination, and business adoption efforts to help ensure successful implementation and sustained outcomes  Monitor program budget, resource needs, and delivery health, escalating issues and recommending actions as needed  Required Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree required  15+ years of experience in program management, transformation leadership, or related roles  Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional enterprise programs  Experience leading SAP, ERP, or similarly complex business and technology transformation initiatives  Experience managing direct reports, including senior-level program or project leaders  Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills  Demonstrated experience in governance, integrated planning, risk management, and issue resolution  Experience working with system integrators, external vendors, and cross-functional business and technology teams  Experience in program financial management Experience in Project Management tools like Clarity / Planview/ SPM / any other Preferred Qualifications   Experience leading major ERP transformation programs  Experience in enterprise transformation involving systems, processes, and operating model changes  Familiarity with change management, business readiness, and adoption planning  PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAP, or related certifications preferred  Advanced degree preferred  Key Competencies   Strategic leadership  Program governance and execution oversight  Team leadership and coaching  Executive presence and communication  Cross-functional collaboration  Risk and issue management  Program Budget Management Partner and vendor management  Business outcome orientation  Success in This Role   Success in this role will be demonstrated through effective leadership of a complex transformation program, strong coordination across workstreams and stakeholders, timely and transparent executive reporting, proactive management of risks and dependencies, and delivery of targeted business outcomes.  What Cencora offers We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
