Collate, curate, and analyze data collected in field related to pathogens from feral swine in livestock, wildlife, environment, etc. Maintain field equipment and prepare reports. Trap, handle, and/or euthanize captured wild animals. Operate and maintain safety in all operations of agency vehicles and/or equipment, including firearms. Work beyond normal business and/or work on weekends as needed. Occasional Duties:   Coordinate and Assist Internal and External Research Partners Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Management or closely related field. 4 Years relevant experience. Required special knowledge, abilities, and skills:  Operation of off-road vehicles and equipment. Use of firearms to euthanize wild animals. Safe conduct of animal trapping. Use of computers to enter data. Strong interpersonal skills. Must lift heavy objects and exert heavy force. Required licenses, certifications, or registrations:   Ability to obtain Class C Driver's License  Preferred licenses, certifications, or registrations:  License to Carry Firearm What You Need to Know Salary:   Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications. Position Funding: This position is grant funded and availability is contingent on grant funding.
