About the role

Public Works Technician - Water Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM Starting Hourly Rate: $23.50 This rate is non-negotiable and there is a 6-month probationary period. After hire, pay increases are dependent on length of service, advancement in the position, and other contractual factors. This position is represented by the AFSCME union. Role Summary: To safely operate light to heavy equipment for the purpose of solid waste collection and to operate and maintain water, sanitary and stormwater systems and for maintenance of City streets. Education, Training and Experience Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
