This role will help improve deal velocity, manage commercial and execution risk, and support high-quality project delivery. This role may include people-management responsibilities, including direct oversight of team members, based on evolving business needs, team structure, and organizational priorities. As the Integration Proposal Manager, you will play an important role in the commercial and technical qualification stages of the quotation process. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Application Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, internal subject matter experts, and customer stakeholders to align requirements, evaluate project feasibility, develop schedules and cost estimates, identify risks, and present well-engineered solutions. This role may also include customer site visits and in-person collaboration. You will be part of a culture that values ownership, learning, practical problem solving, and continuous improvement—while giving you opportunities to grow your technical, commercial, and project leadership skills. Core Responsibilities Lead the coordination of RFP/RFQ responses across Sales, Application Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to develop high-value proposals for customers in the logistics and material handling industry that are well positioned to win orders. Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, technically sound, and aligned with customer requirements, commercial strategy, and execution capabilities. Establish proposal timelines, define responsibilities, drive accountability for deliverables, and provide milestone tracking and status updates during the qualification and quotation phases. Identify commercial, contractual, operational, resource, and execution risks early in the sales cycle and communicate gaps or concerns so the team can reduce project risk. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, and internal subject matter experts to identify cost-saving opportunities, resource needs, capacity considerations, and execution constraints within a project or program. Support contract review and internal approval processes by coordinating input from Legal and internal stakeholders on pricing, scope, risk, terms and conditions, and contractual exceptions. Ensure consistency between commercial proposals, customer expectations, final contract agreements, and execution handoff documentation. Lead structured post-order handoff to the project execution team upon purchase order receipt, ensuring scope, documentation, risks, milestones, and contractual commitments are clearly communicated. Serve as a central liaison across Sales, Application Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and customer stakeholders to drive collaboration, accountability, and alignment to business objectives for proposal development. Drive proposal process development, proposal costing standards and standards for incorporating lessons learned into future proposal work. Key Outcomes / Success Metrics Reduced RFP/RFQ response time and contract cycle time. Improved selling efficiency, proposal completeness, proposal quality (solution and cost accuracy) and alignment at time of order. Improved visibility to commercial, contractual, operational, and execution risks before order acceptance. Increased quality and consistency of post-order handoffs to execution teams. Improved proposal standards that accelerate response development, standardize information gathering, and improve proposal consistency. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience managing machinery systems integration projects from the pre-contract phase through handoff to the execution team. 3-5 years of experience coordinating proposal/RFP/RFQ responses, developing project costs, resource plans, and project schedules. Experience supporting contract review, contract management, commercial risk identification, or cross-functional project execution. Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical, commercial, and execution considerations clearly. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to help cross-functional teams stay aligned around shared goals, milestones, risks, and outcomes. Structured and process-oriented, with the ability to operate in ambiguity, drive clarity, challenge assumptions when needed, and balance speed with quality of execution. Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial deal structuring and terms and conditions negotiation. Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, material handling, automation, or conveyance-related business. Experience with project management and/or the design and execution of automated material handling systems or equipment.
