POSITION SUMMARY: The Product Manager for Components is responsible for managing and executing the product lifecycle for an assigned portfolio of products in the Americas. This role drives product performance through execution excellence, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with regional sales teams, Global Product Managers, and global Business Units, the Product Manager gathers and analyzes market data, competitive intelligence, and voice-of-customer feedback to support product decisions and identify growth opportunities. The Product Manager serves as a key regional partner to the global organization, providing Americas market requirements and business justification to influence product development while supporting the successful regional execution of global product strategy and new product introductions. The Product Manager is responsible for driving successful commercialization of new products in the Americas, including launch readiness, customer adoption, and progress toward defined NPI revenue objectives. The Product Manager also manages the existing portfolio and drives initiatives that improve revenue, margin, and market share in the Americas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage assigned product portfolio performance in the Americas Execute product lifecycle management (pricing, part numbers, portfolio optimization) Develop and execute commercialization plans for new products, driving launch readiness, customer adoption, and progress toward defined revenue objectives Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer activities Monitor product performance and provide data-driven recommendations Monitor NPI performance against revenue and leading-indicator targets, identify gaps to plan, and drive corrective actions with Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders Support product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market activities Develop strong partnerships with Global Product Managers and Business Units to communicate Americas market requirements, influence product development priorities, and support the successful execution of global product strategies and new product introductions Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams Maintain product data in systems (ERP, PIM, etc.) Support forecasting and annual planning processes EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field · 2+ years prior experience in a product management or related roll · Experience with positioning and marketing assigned products into target industries within the automation marketplace. · Experience in building business cases for new product investments · Excellent presentation skills and business acumen in front of customers and distributors. · Proficient in current Microsoft Office. Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus. The pay Range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program.
