We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping young children learn through play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. You’ll work as part of a supportive teaching team to create a classroom where children build confidence, independence, friendships, and important early learning skills. What You’ll Do  Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging Preschool classroom   Implement age-appropriate learning activities and The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum   Engage children through art, music, movement, literacy, sensory play, and hands-on learning   Support children’s language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development   Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships   Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance   Observe children’s development and celebrate individual milestones   Build positive relationships and communicate with families   Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom   Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements  What We’re Looking For  High School Diploma or GED required   Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred   CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required   Patient, dependable, energetic, and nurturing   Strong communication and teamwork skills   Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements  What We Offer  $17–$18 per hour   Full-time Monday–Friday schedule   Paid training and professional development   Employee childcare discount   Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching team   Opportunities for continued professional growth and advancement  Apply today to join The Learning Experience – Ledgewood and help create a Preschool classroom where children are excited to learn, play, grow, and thrive.
