We are looking for our next best team member to join our Banquet team. Discounts with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you & your family members Hotel Room Discounts at Hilton properties worldwide Free meals in our associates' dining room This is a unionized position Here is what you will be doing: Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work. Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function. Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an event space doing set-up, break-down, turning and servicing of rooms. Schedule availability to include weekends and evenings. Excellent communication skills. Ability to read diagrams and Banquet Event Orders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision A positive attitude towards providing exceptional guest service. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A passion for our hospitality and guest service. Team Player: Works well as a member of a group.
