Education/Certification Required: High School graduate 60 hours of college work Paraprofessional III Certification   Experience Required: Experience working with secondary students. Function Secondary Instructional Paraprofessional III - In School Suspension Center Reports To: School Principal Responsibilities: Maintaining a daily working schedule as determined by the Principal. Acting as liaison with the student's regular teacher. Working with teachers in meeting educational and discipline needs of students. Helping students develop greater self-discipline. Monitoring students in performance of work given in the students' regular classrooms. Checking assignments for general accuracy and completeness 'and routing them to teachers. Maintaining accurate records. Attending and participating in staff development programs. Performing other duties as assigned by the Principal. Acquiring knowledge or training in one or all of the following: Cooperative Discipline; Discipline with Dignity. Arranging exit conference for students ready to exit.
