About the role
What You’ll Do Patient Care and Eyewear Selection Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that align with their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences Clearly explain doctor recommendations and lens options, including features and benefits Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage Order Processing and Follow-Up Accurately enter and manage spectacle orders Verify insurance eligibility and calculate patient co-pays Monitor order status to ensure timely delivery Notify patients when orders are ready and coordinate dispensing Conduct follow-up outreach to ensure patient satisfaction and successful adaptation Adjustments and Troubleshooting Perform fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs Address and resolve patient concerns related to eyewear Operations and Merchandising Maintain accurate inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies Create and maintain organized, visually appealing displays Support efficient patient flow and communicate delays when necessary Team Support Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the practice What We’re Looking For Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset A commitment to delivering excellent customer service Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients Interest in both healthcare and retail environments What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays starting in your first year Vision benefits and 401(k) Company-paid certification program with opportunities for career growth and increased earnings A professional, team-oriented work environment Work Environment and Physical Requirements This role is based in a professional medical office setting and involves a mix of standing, walking, and hands-on tasks.
