Machine Operator Brevard, NC, United States | req33265 1st Shift, 08:00 am - 04:30 pm What you will enjoy doing* You will use basic machining principles in the finishing of materials Further you will read and interpret customer and supplier drawings and specifications In this role you must use digital and non-digital measurement tools with an emphasis on dimensional accuracy and precision What makes you great A High School Diploma or GED is required and experience reading and understanding mechanical drawings is preferred Further strong analytical and technical ability is desired  Experience working a a production / manufacturing environment is a plus You must have the ability to follow detailed written instructions In addition you must have basic computer skills Must be physically able to lift to 40 lbs., stand 8hrs or sit 8hrs, with or without accommodation Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
