Posting number: Association of MN Counties Department: Not Applicable Job classification: City Job Posting type: Open Categories: Education, Training Summary The Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) is seeking a full-time Learning & Member Programs Specialist to develop and deliver meaningful education, training, and professional development opportunities for Minnesota county officials and staff. This position will assess member needs, identify emerging trends, coordinate speakers and learning events, facilitate district meetings, and help deliver conferences, workshops, webinars, and other educational programs. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience; four additional years of related experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Experience working in or with county government preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and project management skills. Understanding of adult learning principles and experience with virtual meeting and learning technologies. Valid Minnesota driver’s license required. Starting salary expected to be $70,000–$80,000, depending on qualifications. Based in St. Paul with potential for hybrid work. Applications accepted until filled; first review October 5, 2026.
