Description Lead Registered Nurse We’re seeking a Lead RN who is ready to combine clinical expertise with leadership. In this role, you’ll oversee nursing operations, support and develop staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families Grow your leadership career in a supportive environment Be part of a mission-driven, collaborative team Help shape clinical quality and best practices What You’ll Do Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to RNs and LVNs/LPNs Coordinate care delivery and ensure appropriate staffing coverage Step in to provide direct clinical support when needed Review assessments, care plans, and documentation for accuracy and compliance Serve as a clinical resource for complex medical and behavioral cases Partner with physicians, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary teams Lead audits, incident reviews, and quality improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational standards Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff Learn more about our mission at cg-idd.com Requirements What You'll Need Active RN license (multi-state preferred if applicable) Associate’s Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred) 3+ years of clinical nursing experience 1+ year supporting IDD, developmental disabilities, or long-term care populations Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills Experience with documentation systems (EHR) and Microsoft Office tools Ability to manage priorities, travel locally, and respond to urgent needs
