A bit about the roles City of Casey delivers high-quality three-year-old and four-year-old sessional kindergarten programs across 43 kindergarten centres, supporting children and families within one of Victoria's largest and most diverse communities. We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators who are committed to creating innovative, inclusive and respectful learning environments where every child can thrive. Our kindergarten teams foster a strong culture of collaboration, support and continuous improvement. Educators are encouraged to engage in ongoing professional development, share best practice with colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of programs and teaching approaches that respond to the evolving needs of children and their families. We offer an attractive 10-week leave model, with paid school holidays providing greater work-life balance and time to recharge throughout the year. We currently have full-time, limited tenure opportunities available across our Kindergarten Services. These roles provide a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting children in accessing high-quality early childhood education and delivering positive outcomes for our growing community. What you’ll deliver Plan, deliver and lead inclusive, innovative and respectful kindergarten programs that provide high-quality outcomes for all children and families. Lead a team of passionate early childhood educators to deliver exceptional educational programs and support educators in the planning and implementation of the educational program. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you may be required to work at any of the kindergartens managed by the City of Casey. What you’ll bring An approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification as recognised under the National Quality Framework by ACECQA Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration as an Early Childhood Teacher Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certified Maram Information Sharing Reforms e-learn Certificate Victorian - Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Early Childhood National Child Safety Training - Modules 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 (Geccko) Current Victorian Driver’s License to travel to various kindergartens within City of Casey Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History, Working with Children, Eligibility to Work in Australia and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio) A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset Thorough understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards What’s next?
