About the role

Expertise and Functions Participate in personnel recruiting, employee retention and manpower management Provide engineer assessment and feedback through employee evaluations, formal and informal counselings, merit increases, and promotions Support personnel career growth to include alignment of individual goals to organizational goals and corresponding employee training/mentoring Provide effective mentoring and guidance to fellow engineers to ensure effective results Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust Engage with program, engineering and production customers Support team growth through opportunity identification and business development support as required Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution by assigning resources as required Direct utilization of Subject Matter Experts as necessary Resolve programmatic and functional issues Manage overhead expenses Support process development, deployment and process improvement Participate in the definition, collection and analysis of organizational metrics for continuous improvement Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training:  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required Master’s Degree in a related field preferred Additional direct experience required without degree      Experience: Current KIHOMAC employees with positions in Engineering or Analysis are encouraged to apply Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources
