Intern Mechanical Engineering

About the role

Responsibilities  Participate in hardware development activities  Assist Mechanical Engineers with projects and prototyping as needed  Help with testing and evaluation of new and existing products  Collaborate closely with R&D team members  Qualifications/Skills:  Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk products (Inventor)  Experience with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint  Ability to work independently  Excellent written and communication skills  Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester  Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session  Education and Licensing  Student enrolled in Engineering/Technology: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, ME, MET, EE, EET preferred  Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position  Benefits Medical Dental Vision Company Paid Life/ADD Voluntary Life/ADD Dependent Life/ADD 401k with Employer Match Vacation Personal Time *Watchfire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
