POSITION: Teacher QUALIFICATIONS: Meets requirements as set by WV Law and WV State Board Policy REPORTS TO: Principal JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Implements programs of study Fosters a classroom climate conducive to learning Utilizes instructional management systems models that increase student learning Monitors student progress towards mastery of instructional goals and objectives Communicates effectively within the educational community, and with parents on a regular basis Meets professional responsibilities Provide targeted, small-group and/or individualized intervention in reading and/or mathematics Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies aligned with grade-level standards and district curriculum. Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, deliver, and monitor interventions that supplement core instruction Use progress-monitoring data to evaluate student growth and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain accurate documentation of student interventions, progress, and outcomes Participate in data meetings, Student Assistance Team meetings, PLCs, and other collaborative planning activities Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and intervention needs Ensure services are provided to eligible students in accordance with federal and district requirements Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with all federal, state, and local policies and procedures EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the County Board of Education's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel FUNDING: Title I
