APM has been servicing the North Philadelphia community since 1970.    JOB SUMMARY APM is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people? APM is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support to our HR Department and help ensure a positive experience for employees and applicants. This position supports a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HRIS data entry, compliance tracking, and general HR administration.  Some duties and responsibilities include:   Maintain confidential employee personnel files and HR records. Enter and update employee information in the HRIS. Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. Prepare new hire paperwork and onboarding materials. Assist with background checks and employment verifications. Track licenses, certifications, clearances, training, and other required documentation. Support employee changes, separations, and offboarding. Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries. Assist with timesheets, attendance records, payroll documentation, and benefits enrollment. Support HR events, employee recognition activities, audits, and compliance reviews. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and data-entry skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidential information.
