The HR Assistant helps keep our people, processes, and workplace operations moving by providing dependable support across Human Resources, the executive office, and day-to-day workplace needs. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, responsive, and naturally notices what needs attention. You’ll work closely with HR leadership and the CEO, interact with employees and external partners, and gain exposure to how a growing, multi-location organization operates behind the scenes. Keep employee information, HR records, and systems accurate and up to date. Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate communication, and interview coordination. Assist with employee changes, departures, benefits administration, and other routine HR processes. Prepare HR documents, communications, reports, and other materials. Help maintain HR files, trackers, calendars, and other resources that keep processes organized. Respond to routine employee questions and help connect employees with the right resources. Handle confidential employee information with care and discretion. Keep the Executive Office Moving Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CEO. Help coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, reservations, and related logistics. Organize meeting materials, documents, correspondence, and follow-up items. Track requests, deadlines, and action items to help keep priorities moving forward. Support leadership meetings, company initiatives, and other administrative projects. Help Keep Our Workplace Running Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, deliveries, and routine office services. Monitor office supplies and help keep shared spaces organized and functional. Coordinate routine building and workplace needs with landlords, vendors, maintenance providers, and other partners. Submit service requests and follow up on outstanding issues through resolution or appropriate escalation. Support company meetings, employee events, visitors, and other activities that bring our workplace to life. Pitch in across administrative needs as priorities change and help keep things running smoothly. What We're Looking For Someone who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in following through. A helpful, approachable, and service-oriented teammate who enjoys being useful. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfort handling confidential employee and business information with discretion. Good judgment and the ability to recognize when a question or situation should be escalated. Someone who notices what needs attention and takes initiative to help move it forward. Comfort using technology and learning new systems. Ability to adapt throughout the day and shift between different types of work. Curiosity and genuine willingness to learn. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Ability to work on-site at a computer workstation. What Sets You Apart Previous experience in administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, office operations, or another fast-paced environment. Experience supporting Human Resources or executive administration. Familiarity with HR systems, office management systems, or other business software.
