Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Ready-Mix operations, fleet, maintenance, and concrete production activities. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including MSHA, OSHA, EPA, and environmental requirements. Manage capital improvement projects, including budgeting, planning, execution, and return-on-investment analysis. Lead and develop operations, sales, and support teams to achieve safety, service, quality, and profitability objectives in our Metro and Willamette Valley Divisions. Research, evaluate, and implement innovative products, technologies, and processes that improve safety, operational efficiency, and reduce environmental impact, including carbon reduction initiatives. Effective communicator and collaborative leader, capable of navigating high-pressure situations while fostering positive working relationships. Evaluate and resolve operational challenges related to materials, production, quality, equipment performance, and customer service. Manage employee relations matters professionally and effectively while supporting workforce engagement and retention. Minimum Qualifications: Proven leadership and management experience in construction materials, ready mix concrete, aggregates, or a related industry. Demonstrated responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) management and financial performance. Experience managing concrete production, fleet operations, and equipment maintenance programs. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. Self-motivated leader with a collaborative management style and a commitment to developing people. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, physical/functional assessment, and drug screening.
