Position Title: Entry-Level Recruiter Location: Dedicated School Staffing / Maumee, OH Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: From $15.00/Hour Our associates plays a vital role in supporting both the daily staffing needs of our partner districts and the growth of a strong, reliable pipeline of qualified candidates. This entry-level, cross-functional position blends service, communication, and recruitment responsibilities to ensure districts receive exceptional support and candidates experience a smooth, welcoming hiring process. Recruitment Responsibilities Support candidate sourcing by posting roles, reviewing applications, and identifying potential candidates across job boards, social media, and other channels Assist with the recruitment process by conducting initial phone screens, coordinating interviews, and sharing position requirements Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system to support smooth, timely hiring workflows Provide exceptional candidate support by answering questions, offering guidance, and ensuring a welcoming, responsive experience Participate in outreach and events such as job fairs or district recruitment activities as needed Collaborate with internal teams to understand staffing needs and assist in filling new or evolving roles Contribute to special projects that strengthen recruitment operations and support district partnerships Service Responsibilities Support daily district needs by assisting with unfilled assignments, making morning calls, and ensuring accurate scheduling Communicate with substitutes to encourage assignment acceptance and provide helpful, timely information Monitor and update assignments including half-days, cancellations, start-time adjustments, and multi-day splits Respond to calls and emails from districts and substitutes throughout the day with professionalism and urgency Document outreach and activity in shared systems to support transparency and team coordination Assist with weekly and monthly service tasks such as fill-rate reviews, welcome calls, and district performance updates Required Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills for interacting with candidates, substitutes, and district partners Organizational strength with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfort with applicant tracking systems and willingness to learn new tools Relationship-building skills with a friendly, professional approach Attention to detail when entering or reviewing candidate and assignment information Adaptability and eagerness to learn as district needs and processes evolve
