This role focuses on helping young learners build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through structured routines, hands-on learning, and engaging classroom experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with energetic young learners during an important stage of early development. Key Responsibilities  Support daily classroom routines for 2-year-old children   Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers   Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interaction   Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment   Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and group activities   Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and milestones   Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership   Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies  Qualifications  High school diploma required   Prior childcare experience preferred   Experience working with toddlers or twos a plus   Strong communication and teamwork skills   Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children   Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements  What We Offer  Competitive hourly pay of $17–$18 based on experience   Consistent weekday schedule   Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment   Professional development opportunities   Employee childcare discount  Apply today to join The Learning Experience – East Brunswick and help create a classroom environment where children build confidence, curiosity, and strong early learning foundations.
