Director-Physical Security

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our leadership team in the role of Director, Physical Security.   The Director-Physical Security is responsible for developing and leading the enterprise-wide physical security strategy for IU Health. Ensures the safety of patients, team members, and facilities by overseeing the design, implementation, and management of security systems. Provides strategic leadership, develops and manages the departmental budget, and directs a team that delivers access control, surveillance, badging, and other physical security solutions across the IU Health network. Maintains industry knowledge, positioning IU Health to innovate physical security practices and technology.   Key Relationships Reports to:  Vice President – Security Safety and Disaster Preparedness   Candidate Qualifications Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.   Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required. Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience. Requires experience managing physical security systems, including access control hardware and software and video surveillance. Requires technical expertise in physical security hardware standards and practices. Lenel/Milestone technician certifications are a plus.
