Overview The Data Analyst will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of energy efficiency program data and project pipelines and optimize use of program tools and systems. Working closely with TRC management, Trade Allies (contractors), and the client's QA/QC team, the Analyst will be responsible for running comprehensive reports that measure pipeline health, performance and future outlook. The ideal candidate has strong Excel, programming and data review skills, excellent follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate across internal teams, contractors/Trade Allies, and client stakeholders in a fast-paced program environment. Responsibilities Understand and optimize use of CRM, its process flows, output reports, and dashboards. Run and maintain Excel-based reports to proactively manage data and ensure pipeline attention and quality. Analyze project pipeline data to identify trends, outliers, and potential compliance issues; escalate findings and recommend corrective actions to TRC management. Collaborate with TRC & client management to define, refine, and standardize QA/QC review parameters across the energy efficiency program portfolio. Develop and maintain customer facing tools and data integration across multiple platforms. Support short- and long-term forecasting of program production and goal attainment through pipeline data analysis. Document programmatic findings clearly, escalate issues timely, and recommend corrective actions to improve project accuracy and consistency. Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to management detailing findings and trends. Coordinate with internal project teams, planning/reporting teams, outreach staff, management, Trade Allies, and the client to align on requirements, resolve issues, and maintain consistent review standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal project, planning, and management teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Learn, understand, and apply energy efficiency principles and mathematical models. Provide timely client support with commitment to customer satisfaction. Apply appropriate principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments within timeframe required. Participate in and deliver internal and external trainings. Participate in and attend Trade Ally events and trainings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with up to 5 years of professional experience. Considered an emerging authority and SME in related discipline. Ability to attend site visits throughout the State of New Jersey. Strong computer and record-keeping skills: proficiency in MS Excel, programming, and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Ability to handle a high volume of combined inquiries, workbook, database, and documentation reviews. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, exception reporting, and data analysis. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively across different teams. Ability to work with culturally diverse customers and contractors effectively and respectfully. Excellent time management and organizational skills Eligibility to work in the United States.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1–5 years of experience in QA/QC, data analysis, forecasting, pipeline management, or accounts receivable. Experience working with contractors, vendors, or Trade Allies preferred. Technical, engineering, sustainability, LEED, CEM, or energy-related background or credentials are a plus. WORK LOCATION   Candidate will be required to travel to Trade Ally events and trainings as required (approximately 10% within the State of New Jersey). Candidate will also be expected to work from the TRC New Jersey office, located at 317 George Street, Suite 520, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, approximately one day per week on average, and attend meetings at the utility client’s office as needed.   NOTE: Candidate must be New Jersey Resident and reside in New Jersey.   Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. TRC offers jurisdiction specific benefit packages for International and Puerto Rico employees.   Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.   Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
