The estimated  per hourly range for this position is $22 - 30 per hour based on experience.    Competitive Weekly Pay Period    The Information Technology Intern will be a part of the S&C IT Risk Management team. Key team functions include Information Security Governance, Risk, & Compliance, Security Posture Management, and Security Operations. This role will assist in the detection and mitigation of security weaknesses and compliance gaps. Additionally, they will collaborate with other internal technical support teams as needed for cyber events, assessments, and internal projects.    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:   Assist in performing vulnerability assessments, analyzing the findings, and supporting remediation actions  Participate in data loss prevention roadmap implementation  Research, recommend, and assist in implementation of information security process improvements  Investigate automated methods to apply security measures to devices and identities  Draft and update security policies and procedures and security awareness materials  Participate in ongoing activities and strategic planning efforts intended to address emerging security threats and to further enhance S&C’s cyber posture    To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:   In-progress degree program from an accredited university/college program with a concentration in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technology-related field.   Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills  Good communication skills, both verbal and written    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   General understanding of and/or coursework in cyber security terms, processes, and tools  Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTia Sec+ CompTia CYSA) are a plus    MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS    Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds.   Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling   Work is performed in a computer laboratory and office environment      Ready to make an impact and become an employee-owner?
