Custodian II FT / PT Status – Full-Time Salary – $16.63 - $ Hourly Wage Remote Work / In-Office – In-Office / On-Site Recruiter – Crystal Haywood | | 801-545-5532 Application Deadline – 9/22/2026 Key Responsibilities The Central Utah Correctional Facility is looking for a detail oriented Custodian II to engage in the cleaning and upkeep of building interiors. Principal Duties The Custodian II will perform a variety of duties such as: Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies. Cleans and maintains floors, dusts, waxes and polishes furniture, washes windows, mirrors, and other glass or plastic items, empties trash and garbage, etc. Ensures quality control. Qualifications The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has the following: Professional experience in housekeeping practices, techniques and procedures. Detail oriented. Excellent communication skills. Experience ensuring compliance with contract terms, policies and procedures. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Experience with many cleaning agents, products and equipment. Preference * Preference may be given to those with janitorial experience.
