Description The Department of Counseling invites applications for a full-time Clinical Faculty & CMHC Clinical Coordinator position dedicated specifically to our Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) graduate program. This role balances specialized administrative oversight of graduate practicum and internship placements with core instructional and departmental responsibilities. The successful candidate will serve as the primary administrator managing community agency relationships, ensuring student compliance with accreditation standards, and delivering high-quality clinical preparation and field experience instruction. The coordinator works collaboratively under the direction of the Program Director to maintain the clinical integrity of the CMHC program, lead student gatekeeping processes, and actively participate in departmental faculty meetings and institutional service. CMHC Clinical Site Recruitment & Network Expansion- Active site recruitment, relationship cultivation, and Strategic growth. CMHC Clinical Coordination & Administration- State & Institutional Regulation Monitoring, Site Vetting & Compliance, Digital & Telehealth Compliance, Affiliation Agreements, Data Auditing via Clinical Software, Program Evaluation Alignment, & Site Supervisor Liaison Instruction & Student Gatekeeping- Clinical Instruction, Didactic Coursework, Asynchronous Course Development, Deliberate Skills Integration, Gatekeeping & Student Support Requirements Ph.D. or Ed.D. in counselor Education and Supervision (from a CACREP-accredited program) Sustained membership in ACA and/or AMHCA. Active membership in regional or state-level counseling chapters. Licensed in state of residence or eligible for immediate, independent licensure as an LPC, LMHC, LCPC Supervisor-level credential (e.g., QS, LPC-S, ACS). Licensed in more than one state. Minimum of 2 years of post-master’s clinical mental health counseling experience. Prior experience supervising students or managing field placements. Experience preparing a CACREP self-study or clinical handbook and Knowledge of CACREP standards specific to CMHC field placements. High proficiency with clinical software platforms (Tevera, Exxat, or Sonia).
