Court Square Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Long Island City, NY. Our team works together to provide high-quality care while making sure every client and patient feels welcomed and supported. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude—even on busy days Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:  Answering a high volume of phone calls and assisting clients with questions  Greeting clients and creating a welcoming experience  Checking patients in and out - Scheduling and confirming appointments  Responding to emails and client messages  Taking accurate messages for our medical team  Creating and updating patient and client profiles  Processing payments and assisting with account questions  Communicating with clients regarding medications, records, appointments, and follow-ups  Maintaining an organized and clean reception and lobby area  Assisting the veterinary team and other departments as needed  Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets Preferred Qualifications **Veterinary hospital or veterinary receptionist experience is required**   Excellent communication and customer service skills  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities  Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients in person, by phone, and electronically  Reliable, punctual, and professional   A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team  Compassionate and comfortable interacting with dogs, cats, and their owners - Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emotional situations  Benefits Competitive Compensation – $18.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.  Comprehensive Training & Career Development – Gain access to ongoing learning opportunities and career growth programs.  Comprehensive Health Benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverage to support your well-being.  Exclusive Pet Care Discounts – Significant savings on pet exams, treatments, and boarding.  Generous Paid Time Off – Recharge with paid vacation and personal days.  401(k) with Company Match – Invest in your future with our retirement savings plan.
