Assist providers during exams and procedures Take vital signs, obtain medical histories Assist with patient form request ie FMLA or other needed forms. Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatment Ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective care for patients. Engage in teamwork and community involvement to enhance patient care. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists. Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required.
