Job Summary: Adventist Health St. Helena is seeking a Business Support Associate - Finance for a per diem, day shift position. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual who is able to work onsite at our St. Helena, CA location. Supports Adventist Health Finance Operations from the Adventist Health Employment Center at Pacific Union College with a defined set of administrative, data, and analytical support functions. Work may include assisting with audits and data validation across payroll and timekeeping functions, such as pay rules, alternative workweek schedules (AWS), and differential reviews, along with data entry, reporting, and reconciliation support. Completes assigned support functions and tasks under the direction of finance leadership, gaining exposure to finance operations across the system. Open to any actively enrolled Pacific Union College student. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Current active enrollment as a student at Pacific Union College, open to any enrolled student regardless of program of study: Required Continued active enrollment at Pacific Union College throughout the entire duration of employment: Required Coursework in accounting, finance, business, data analytics, or a related field: Preferred Prior data-entry, bookkeeping, or administrative experience: Preferred Essential Functions: Provides administrative, data, and analytical support to the finance team across assigned functions. Assists with audits and data validation across payroll and timekeeping data, such as pay rules, alternative workweek schedules (AWS), and differentials. Compares records against defined criteria and flags discrepancies for team review. Enters, validates, and maintains data in Oracle and related systems. Prepares and formats reports, trackers, and reconciliation support. Compiles monthly reports summarizing progress and accomplishments. Maintains organized documentation and clear audit trails; handles confidential information appropriately. Supports finance projects and period-close tasks as assigned.
