Contingent Upon Funding:  Not Applicable Standard Work Schedule:  Standard (M-F, 8-5) If Not a Standard Work Schedule:    Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for preparing all finance and business transactions, as well as business reporting. This role is comprehensive, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities related to maintaining and improving business operations within the College of Arts and Sciences Business and Research Center. Effective analytical skills and a strong understanding of business processes are critical for success in this position. Select duties include: - Financial Data Management - Transaction Preparation - Compliance and Reporting - Communication and Collaboration Performs other related duties as assigned.   Qualifications Required Education and Experience:  High School diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent Qualifications:  Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience. Preferred Qualifications:  Special Certification/Licensure:    Working Conditions and Physical Effort Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required. Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking. Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
