About the role
Description We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Bilingual Recruiter (Spanish-English) to support recruiting efforts across multiple business functions. This role will manage approximately 7-10 active openings at a time, recruiting for a wide range of positions including CDL Drivers, Diesel Mechanics, Equipment Operators, General Laborers, Sales Professionals, Customer Service Representatives, and IT Support staff. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and serve as a key resource for Spanish-speaking employees and candidates throughout the hiring process. In addition to recruiting responsibilities, this individual will assist with document translation, candidate communications, onboarding support, and interview facilitation to ensure an exceptional candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, partnering with hiring managers, and helping candidates navigate the hiring process from application through onboarding. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer support, and onboarding. Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple business units and position types. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Recruit for positions including drivers, diesel mechanics, equipment operators, general laborers, sales representatives, customer service professionals, IT personnel, and other operational roles. Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit. Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and onboarding activities. Provide regular communication and follow-up with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Utilize job boards, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, networking events, and other creative sourcing methods to attract talent. Translate recruitment and HR-related documents, including benefits information and employee communications, from English to Spanish and vice versa. Assist Spanish-speaking candidates and employees by serving as an interpreter during interviews, onboarding sessions, and other employment-related interactions. Support initiatives that enhance the candidate and employee experience for bilingual and ESL populations. Required Qualifications Fluency in both Spanish and English, including verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Experience managing multiple priorities and open requisitions simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems. Preferred Qualifications Previous recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or HR experience. Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments. Experience recruiting for skilled trades, transportation, manufacturing, operations, or industrial positions. Experience translating HR, benefits, or employment-related documents. Knowledge of employment screening and onboarding processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
