You will work with   state-of-the-art   technology and will build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.       The Behavioral Health Center at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents,   adults   and seniors. Caregivers help patients back to the path of hope,   happiness   and a better quality of life through the center’s treatment services, counseling,   classes   and screenings.   As   an   Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM)   on the team, you will provide clinical supervision and unit coordination   to units   within the   Behavioral Health Center.   With an emphasis on professional development and success, you will encourage caregivers to enhance their skills and   the   patient   exp erience   through improvement initiatives and incentives.   ANM's   are the primary point of contact for everyone coming and going in the building and the ones who fully coordinate care for this patient population.     This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is looking to advance their career into a leadership role. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic,  understanding  and nurturing to ensure quality patient care. It takes   a true heart  to care for these patients, requiring a caregiver in this role to have a passion for behavioral healt h. On th is team, you will have  numerous  opportunities to explore educational development courses and advance the Professi ona l Ladder at Cleveland Clinic.            A caregiver in this position works   days  from   6:45A M   – 7:15PM,   with weekend and holiday requirements.     A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.    Provide effective and efficient patient care to all ages on assigned shifts or as otherwise   designated.   Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments/units.    Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts.   Coordinate patient admitting, discharges, transfers and other operational issues.   Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.    Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers, counsel caregivers on performance issues, administer initial corrective actions and monitor attendance issues.   Interview,   select   and orient new caregivers.    Monitor the adherence to EEO/AAP goals and guidelines.   Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.    Participate in and support quality improvement projects, outcomes,   studies   and research initiatives.    Assist   in orienting new personnel, continuing   education   and in-service educational programs.   Assume   responsibilities   of the Nurse Manager in their absence.     Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing   Bachelor’s   of Science in Nursing (BSN)   Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)   Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross   Two years of recent clinical nursing experience    Strong   demonstrated   clinical knowledge and skills     Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   Psychiatric experience in the state of Florida   Previous   Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) experience   Behavioral Health experience     Physical Requirements: Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
