If you are NOT a current employee or student, please click “Apply” and complete the application process for external applicants.   Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location. For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see  Notice to Out of State Applicants.   JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Pennsylvania State University, Lehigh Valley   campus,   invites applications for   a   position   in the Criminal Justice degree program, to begin   January 2027. T his   adjunct opportunity has the potential for   a   continuing appointment, as needed.     The preferred candidate   should   have both practical work experience in   the Juvenile Justice system   and relevant teaching experience.   Adjunct faculty are expected to teach specified course(s) as assigned,   prepare course materials,   and provide support and guidance to   students.   The   ideal candidate will   also   have experience working with diverse student populations and   demonstrate   an interest in   facilitating   student mentoring.     The   open adjunct position   is for   CRIMJ   441,   Juvenile Justice,   15- week   contract, on-campus,   meet ing Wednesday evenings.     Candidates must have a minimum of   a   master's degree in criminal justice or criminology (or   a   closely related field).     Applications will be reviewed   on an ongoing basis,   with applications accepted until the position is filled.       To apply,   submit   a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and   contact information   for   three reference s.   Review of the applications will begin   immediately   and will continue until the relevant position s are   filled.      Application materials   must be   submitted   online through  hr.psu.edu/careers.   BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.       CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
