About the role
Description The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank who will provide direct patient care managing hospitalized patients with complex neurological sub-specialty needs. These positions will be oriented to UCM’s hospitals predominantly at UChicago Medicine Hyde Park with rotations at Ingalls Memorial and UChicago Medicine Advent Health dependent on system needs and candidate preferences. These positions will also encompass academic effort, including providing education and oversight to medical students, residents, and fellows, and scholarly activity. Section leadership opportunities may be available. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Neurology or equivalent.
