Posting Type: Internal/External position Effective Date: Immediately Description: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Part-Time Bus Assistant for the Transportation Department, with the following requirements: Requirements: Epi-pen training required (will be provided) Lay out seatbelts before arriving at child's bus stop Must prepare vehicle for any special need the student may have Must be in good physical condition Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Assist children getting in and out of bus; assist (lift) child getting into seat, and secure child with seatbelt Must be familiar with emergency evacuation procedure and assist driver in the event of an emergency evacuation Must be able to assist the driver if it is necessary to back up the bus Must be patient and able to interact with special needs students Must have prior experience as a bus assistant   Terms of Employment: Part-Time Non-Tenure Track Hours: TBD Salary Hourly Rate: $24.00 Contract terms, salary, and benefits as established by the  MEFNIP  Collective Bargaining Agreement Benefits (if applicable, may include): Sick & Personal Days Professional Development Opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Application Procedure: Interested candidates must apply online using the following link:  Job ID#3271 Please do not mail, email, or bring a resume to the district Human Resource Department or any school.
